Residents of Queensland’s booming Sunshine Coast region will have better access to justice after Shine Lawyers opens a new branch in Caloundra on Monday 3rd February.
The new team at the Bulcock Street branch will include Special Counsel Rebecca Thomas, who has lived and worked in the region for more than a decade.
“The population of the Sunshine Coast is due to grow to more than 385,000 people by 2026 , so bringing a national law firm like Shine to Caloundra is fantastic for the local community,” Ms Thomas said.
“We understand that for people who are injured or traumatised, traveling long distances to find legal assistance can be a painful burden.
“Having an additional Shine branch on the Sunshine Coast will provide better, easier access to justice for residents right around the region.”
Whether it’s representing those who have been injured by motor vehicle accidents, workplace or industrial incidents or as a result of medical negligence, Shine’s experience and expertise ensures our lawyers achieve the best result for clients.
“Unfortunately the Sunshine Coast has some of the most dangerous roads in the State . Many of our clients in this region have suffered injuries from car accidents through no fault of their own, or physical and psychological trauma at work,” Ms Thomas said.
“I’m driven by the fact that at Shine we help give everyday Australians a voice and relieve the fear and burden of fighting large insurance companies by taking on that fight for them.”
The Caloundra branch is the latest addition to Shine’s almost 40 offices around Australia. Appointments can be made for the Caloundra branch Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.
