Twenty four products have been recalled from major retailers’ shelves after around thirty people were diagnosed with salmonella poisoning.

Tripod Farmers, based in Bacchus Marsh west of Melbourne, supplies leafy greens to Coles and Woolworths and withdrew its product from supermarket shelves yesterday following a recall announcement from Victoria’s Health Department.

Speaking to ABC News on Friday, Department of Health and Human Services senior medical advisor Dr Finn Romanes said he expected more people to develop symptoms in the coming days.
