Before turning to law, Rina built a career as a Certified Practising Accountant and corporate accountant in the energy and food manufacturing industries. She made a deliberate career pivot, retraining as a lawyer through a Juris Doctor — a decision that has defined her practice ever since. That background shapes how she approaches every claim: with the financial rigour of an accountant and the strategic thinking of a lawyer. With over seven years of post-admission experience across Workers' Compensation, CTP, and Public Liability matters, Rina's quantum assessments routinely identify economic loss and future care costs that a standard assessment might undervalue — regularly strengthening the settlements she secures for her clients. Her practice has been entirely plaintiff-side throughout her career.

Outside the office, Rina is a marathon runner — a pursuit that has given her the discipline, endurance, and long-view thinking she brings to complex, long-running claims.
