Lorne Franks is a Special Counsel in our Class Actions practice, based out of Melbourne. Lorne is a passionate lawyer, who is dedicated to social justice and making a positive impact.

Before joining Shine, Lorne worked at a national compensation law firm where he played a key role in leading major cases to success, representing ordinary Australians injured by dangerous products, or who have suffered financial losses as shareholders and consumers.
In addition to his class actions expertise, Lorne has practised as a solicitor in personal injury and tortious claims, with a focus on dust and industrial diseases.
Lorne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the Australian National University and a Juris Doctor from Monash University.
