A separate class action relating to Allergan breast implants has now commenced. We have been continuing our investigation and liaising with the team funding the class action that has been commenced.
After careful consideration, we have determined that the newly commenced class action covers all the issues Shine Lawyers has been investigation, as well as additional claims beyond our current scope. We have concluded that the other class action covers all of the claims that Shine is investigating and also includes additional claims.
In light of this, commencing a second, parallel class action would not be in the best interests of individuals affected by Allergan breast implants. To avoid duplication and ensure the strongest pathway for affected individuals, we have decided to close our investigation.
