Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Stephanie worked in the public services sector supporting children, families, and vulnerable individuals. Beginning as a Youth Support Worker, she transitioned into legal roles — working as a Litigation Support Officer and later as a Graduate Lawyer in child protection matters. This early exposure to complex and sensitive cases shaped her practical, compassionate approach to client care and deepened her commitment to social justice. Stephanie was drawn to practise law through her long-standing dedication to advocacy and supporting those facing disadvantage. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2025.
Committed to giving back to her community, Stephanie has served as a Board Member of YouthLink (2022–2025), a Cairns-based not-for-profit supporting vulnerable young people, and as a Board Associate of Gondwana Choirs (2023–2024), a national not-for-profit dedicated to nurturing young voices across Australia. She currently holds a Board Member position with Warringu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation, a specialist domestic and family violence service.
