Jenny Han is a Special Counsel with expertise in large-scale, complex product liability class actions.
Jenny completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Queensland, and was admitted to practice in 2013. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Jenny obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science at the Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, which she evolved into a passion for communication and social justice.
Post-admission, Jenny gained significant experience working in insurance and personal injury litigation across local and international jurisdictions, including multiple states in Australia, South Korea and the United States.
Jenny joined Shine Lawyers in 2020 to support the firm’s transvaginal prolapse mesh class actions against Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific. She has played a critical role in progressing these matters, resulting in settlements totalling over $400 million - the largest settlements in product liability class actions in Australian history.
