Chris is involved in the following Class Actions:
Chris has spent most of his legal career pursuing wrongdoers and holding them to account – particularly banks, financial professionals and lawyers.
Chris was first involved in financial sector cases in the UK’s Interest Rate Hedging Product Scandal from 2010 and continued in this area having acted for claimants in cases against major banking groups, financial advisors and pension operators.
One particular highlight during this time was being the Solicitor for the successful (on appeal) claimant in Adams v Options UK Personal Pensions LLP [2020] EWHC 1229 (Ch), [2021] EWCA Civ 118. This was a landmark outcome that will provide redress in pension scam cases and bring improvement to the pension operator industry.
Chris’ legal experience spans commercial litigation, professional negligence, property litigation, landlord & tenant law, social housing law and personal injury.
In 2023 Chris relocated to Australia to join Shine’s leading Class Actions practice, and he now brings his expertise to pursuing justice for everyday Australians who have been wronged by large corporations and governments.
