With over a decade of commercial litigation experience, Andre advocates for people who have been wronged by governments, businesses, financial institutions and other organisations.

Based in Shine’s Sydney CBD office, Andre is known for his creative and thoughtful approach to securing cost-effective outcomes for clients. Andre thrives on the dynamic nature of litigation and has efficiently led and managed teams, driving key litigation milestones in high value, multi-million-dollar class actions.

Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Andre was responsible for several high-profile product liability class actions (involving motor vehicles, combustible cladding and breast implants) which concerned holding large corporations accountable for alleged breaches of the Australian Consumer Law.  Andre also has experience with class actions seeking redress for wrongs committed by the financial services industry, as well as shareholder class actions.

Whilst results are important to Andre, he is always cognisant of the human side of litigation and does his best to not only secure justice for his clients but to walk them through the journey every step of the way. He is known for his down-to-earth approach in resolving problems and calmness in the face of intense pressure.

Andre’s interest in complex litigation, advocacy and persuasive legal writing was deepened during his time as tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Christine Adamson (now Judge of Appeal) at the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
