How long can I receive workers’ compensation payments for?
You should receive compensation for as long as the injury/illness is preventing you from working. Most cases stop around the 130-week mark, but if you meet certain criteria around work hours or work capacity, it can possibly go up to 260 weeks (which is about 5 years).
