This week is Brain Injury Awareness Week (17 – 23 August) and BANGONABEANIE is the National campaign for this week, supporting over 1.6 million Australians. The campaign aims to raise awareness of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in the community and assist in the reduction of the incidence of brain injury.
One in twelve Australians are affected by Acquired Brain Injuries and so by purchasing just one beanie, it can help improve the level of support to individuals affected by ABI and their families. BANGONABEANIE aims to support affected individuals as they are one of the largest and most disadvantaged disability groups in Australia.
All the money raised through BANGONABEANIE goes towards providing support and assistance to individuals and families in crisis. To learn more about Brain Injury Awareness Week and how you can get involved, head to www.bangonabeanie.com
