A recent investigation by Safer Care Victoria has revealed that surgeon, Dr. Liu-Ming Schmidt conducted and supervised over 1,000 incomplete colonoscopies within the Albury Wodonga region. 

1,084 individuals have already undertaken repeat examinations, with seven patients already diagnosed with colorectal cancer as a result.

If you had a colonoscopy between 2017 and 2022 in the Albury Wodonga region and were recalled for a second colonoscopy, you may be eligible for a medical negligence claim.
