Tianna Hyder is a Solicitor in Shine Lawyers' Class Actions practice, based in our Brisbane branch. She began her legal career as a paralegal in institutional abuse law in 2020, before working as a solicitor in boutique firms through to 2022. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland that same year, Tianna went on to practise as a personal injury solicitor and legal costing solicitor at Shine Lawyers before joining the Class Actions team.
Tianna’s experience across multiple practice areas has equipped her with a well-rounded skill set and a meticulous attention to detail, which she now applies to complex class action matters.
From a young age, Tianna has been driven by a strong sense of social justice and a belief in the importance of standing up for those who may otherwise feel unheard. She is deeply committed to advocating for everyday people and giving a voice to individuals facing powerful institutions. Tianna approaches every matter with genuine care, a high level of responsibility, and a determination to ensure her clients feel supported throughout the legal process.
One of Tianna’s proudest career highlights is her work supporting survivors of institutional abuse. Being entrusted to assist clients who have experienced significant trauma is something she considers both a privilege and a responsibility. Contributing to outcomes that acknowledge their experiences and help deliver justice has been profoundly meaningful, reinforcing her dedication to the law and the purpose behind her work each day.
