"My strengths lie in my ability to connect with people from all walks of life and to communicate in a way that is clear, approachable, and supportive."
Sian is a solicitor with Shine Lawyers' workers' compensation and abuse law teams in New South Wales. Based in Shine's Coffs Harbour branch, Sian is committed to securing the best possible compensation outcomes for her clients. Sian represents clients who have been injured through no fault of their own, with claims involving:
Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Sian worked in personal injury and employment law, developing strong experience in claims management within the workers' compensation jurisdiction. She was responsible for progressing matters from early investigation through to resolution, liaising with clients, insurers, and medical providers, and ensuring claims were advanced efficiently and in accordance with statutory requirements. Sian was drawn to practise law out of a genuine commitment to advocating for everyday people. Growing up in the close knit beachside community of Redhead, Newcastle, she developed a deep appreciation for hard work, resilience, and straightforward communication — values that continue to underpin her client centred approach. A highlight of her university studies was the opportunity to travel to China and work within a local law firm, which broadened her perspective and strengthened her ability to work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and communities.
Committed to giving back to her community, Sian has volunteered with NSW Surf Life Saving, patrolling Redhead Beach, and has supported the Red Shield Appeal and the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre's Food Connect Program.
