Rochelle is a Solicitor with Shine Lawyers' Class Actions Queensland practice. Based in Shine Lawyers' Brisbane branch, Rochelle represents groups of ordinary Australians who have been wronged by governments and big organisations. In her role, she assists her clients to navigate the legal system and overcome roadblocks from well-resourced defendants.
Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, Rochelle built a strong foundation in the Queensland public sector. She worked as a Senior Policy Officer within the Department of Education and as a Senior Public Trust Officer at the Queensland Public Trust Office. Both roles reflected a clear focus on social justice and human rights, with an emphasis on supporting vulnerable members of the community and ensuring fair access to services and protections.
Rochelle was drawn to the law through a long-standing commitment to advocacy and a desire to give people a stronger voice within systems that can often feel complex or inaccessible. She brings to her practice a thoughtful and compassionate approach, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex matters with care and professionalism.
She is committed to achieving fair, practical outcomes for her clients, particularly in matters involving vulnerable individuals. Rochelle places importance on understanding the person behind each case and is dedicated to advocating for outcomes that genuinely reflect her clients’ best interests.
