Reuben is a solicitor in Shine Lawyers' Superannuation and Disability Insurance team. Based in our Brisbane branch, Reuben helps clients navigate complex Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and income protection claims. He supports clients through every stage, from evidence gathering and claim preparation through to engagement with insurers and medical experts.

Prior to joining Shine, Reuben worked as a law clerk at a commercial litigation and construction law firm. He then joined Shine's Class Actions team, where he spent 18 months working across complex matters including stolen wages, product liability and financial services class actions. A formative chapter during this time was his involvement in the Northern Territory Stolen Wages class action, which saw him travel to remote communities across the Territory over several weeks to assist with client outreach and engagement. Hearing people's stories firsthand left a lasting impression and has strengthened his commitment to helping clients through their insurance claims.
