Petar is a solicitor with Shine Lawyers’ personal injury team in Queensland. Based in Shine’s Logan branch, he is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients who have been injured through no fault of their own.

Petar represents clients across a range of personal injury matters, including:

Before joining Shine Lawyers, Petar completed a paid law clerk internship at Batch Mewing Lawyers, where he gained practical legal experience supporting construction law matters and developed strong research and client communication skills.

Prior to his legal career, Petar spent seven years working at Princess Alexandra Hospital as a sleep technician. In this role, he assisted patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory and neuromuscular disorders. This hands-on healthcare experience gave Petar a strong understanding of the physical, emotional and financial impact injuries can have on individuals and their families.

Petar was drawn to personal injury law through his desire to advocate for people who may be feeling overwhelmed or unsure of their options following an injury. As the first person in his immediate family to complete tertiary education, he brings empathy, determination and a strong work ethic to every matter he assists with.

Fluent in Serbian, Petar can assist both English and Serbian-speaking clients in the Logan community and beyond.
