Matthew is a Senior Associate with Shine Lawyers’ Class Actions team.
Based in Shine’s Melbourne branch, Matthew advocates for groups of ordinary Australians who have been wronged by governments or corporate institutions.

Before working in class actions, Matthew practised in personal injury law, with a particular focus on workers’ compensation claims and motor vehicle accident claims. He was admitted to practise in August 2016 and spent the first part of his career acting for plaintiffs in personal injury matters. For the past two and a half years, he has worked in the class actions space, with a particular focus on injury-related class actions.
Matthew enjoys working on varied matters on behalf of some of the most vulnerable members of the community. He is passionate about helping people access justice and finds great professional satisfaction in achieving positive outcomes for those he represents.
