Motor vehicle accident
Standing up for society's most vulnerable is a cause to which Kavita is committed.
At the tender age of six, Kavita Maharaj knew she wanted to be a lawyer. Inspired by American TV dramas, she loved watching passionate attorneys slam their fists on the table and battle it out in the courtroom. In reality, the legal profession is far more civilised - but Kavita isn't afraid to fight for what's right. Since 2005, she has helped people injured through no fault of their own obtain the compensation they deserve. No claim is too tricky for Kavita, who prides herself on successfully resolving cases other firms turned away. The mother of two finds it especially rewarding to represent children. She has advocated for kids whose lives have been turned upside down after they were injured in motor vehicle accidents.
Standing up for society's most vulnerable is the cause to which Kavita is committed. As a regular guest on the radio station Brisvani, she shares her legal expertise with Hindi speakers across Australia and New Zealand.
