Friya is an Associate in Shine Lawyers’ Class Actions team. Based in our Brisbane branch, Friya advocates to achieve justice for everyday people who have been wronged by large corporations and governments.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Friya worked for many years in community development and social care. Her decision to study law was motivated by a firm commitment to social justice and reform. Having worked extensively with people suffering from systemic disadvantage, Friya pursued a Juris Doctor with the goal of working towards effecting institutional change by improving access to justice and equity.
Before joining Shine Lawyers, Friya gained valuable experience in negligence, shareholder and consumer law class actions at a national class actions firm.
