Abuse law
Selina knows first-hand the devastation that comes with seeing a family member injured and the financial and emotional impact that can have on people. As a result, she takes quite a compassionate and understanding approach when dealing with clients.
Selina started her career in law as a receptionist in a boutique firm before being admitted to practice. Since joining Shine, Selina quickly established herself as one of the firm’s most talented lawyers.
Through her talents, Selina has quickly advanced herself through varying levels of management and lead her to her current position as Acting Legal Practice Manager & Associate.
Beginning her legal career in criminal law, family law, personal injury and wills and estates, she quickly became aware of the emotional and traumatic toil client’s face during such difficult situations.
Selina describes herself as a strong empath, which is how she found herself closely drawn to personal injury law due to the close alignment it had with her passion to help others.
It is through her committed approach that she is able to deliver substantial settlements for clients in personal injury and abuse law. Selina takes great pride in the care and compassion she ensures is given to each client who comes through her doors.
Selina is also a formidable presence at the negotiation table, and has a proven track record of helping secure her clients’ financial future as they recover from an injury.
She’s renowned for never taking a backwards step, and fearlessly staring down some of the biggest mining companies in Queensland on behalf of her clients.
