After growing up in a country where she was surrounded by injustice and the feeling of helplessness, Rushka was inspired to become a lawyer to help people.

Based in the Shine Lawyers Brisbane office, Rushka is a Solicitor within our Abuse Law Department who is driven to secure the acknowledgement, restitution and justice that survivors of abuse deserve.

Rushka and our team of dedicated Abuse Law experts represent survivors of sexual abuse all across Australia and overseas in claims against government institutions, schools, sporting clubs and churches.

She treats each client with empathy and compassion; understanding that many have experienced extreme hardships as a result of the lifelong injury that has been inflicted upon them and that because of this injury, her clients have not always been heard, acknowledged or understood by others.

Prior to completing her studies, Rushka worked as a Disability Support Worker, helping clients who had mental and physical disabilities.
