Ricky brings valuable experience from his previous role at DW Lawyers Pty Ltd, where he managed workers’ compensation matters. This experience has strengthened his understanding of personal injury and insurance frameworks, allowing him to support clients through complex claims processes.

Ricky’s journey into law is deeply personal. After witnessing his mother navigate the WorkCover process following a workplace assault, he was inspired to pursue a legal career to support others facing similar challenges. His lived experiences including immigrating to Australia, growing up in a blue-collar environment and working in a factory allow him to connect with clients from all walks of life.

Ricky is the first member of his family to graduate from university, a milestone that reflects his determination and commitment to creating opportunities for himself and others.

Known for his approachable and relatable nature, Ricky works closely with his clients to ensure they feel heard and supported throughout their legal journey.

Outside of his legal work, Ricky has contributed to fundraising initiatives supporting cancer research and programs such as Canteen Australia. He also enjoys staying active through football and basketball.

Fluent in English and with intermediate Samoan language skills, Ricky can support a diverse range of clients within the Brisbane community and beyond.
