Class Actions

As a Solicitor in our Shine Lawyers Class Actions practice, Narinder is part of a team helping thousands of Australians seek access to justice in large-scale class actions relating to breaches of Australian Consumer Law, Fair Work, and Financial Services Law.

“Class actions helps voice concerns of thousands of Australians wronged by well-resourced large corporations or the government, and seek redress and compensation in a cost-effective and efficient system. I am passionate about my work and strongly believe in using our knowledge and experience to correct wrongdoings, promote accountability and transparency.”

Narinder graduated from the University of London in 2009 with a Bachelor of Laws. She went on to complete her Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law in 2010. She was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2011. Narinder then transferred her overseas qualifications by completing her Graduate Diploma in Law through the University of Sydney. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2019.

Before working in Class Actions, Narinder worked in the investigation of FX market misconduct of the big four banks and the breach of Australian financial services licenses. She was also a legal researcher at the Kenya Law Reform Commission and an Associate Lawyer in Nairobi, specialising in civil and commercial litigation, motor insurance claims, land and property law, succession law and employment law claims.

In addition to providing access to justice for everyday Australians through class actions, Narinder is passionate about fighting gender and racial discrimination.
