Narinder is involved in the following Class Actions:
A Solicitor in our Class Actions team, Narinder works across a variety of large-scale class actions, helping thousands of Australians seek access to justice in matters relating to Australian Consumer Law claims, the Fair Work Act and breaches of Financial Services Law.
“Working in class actions has provided the means to give a voice to thousands of Australians who have been wronged by well-resourced corporations. I am passionate about my work and strongly believe in utilising our legal knowledge and experience to correct wrongdoings, promote accountability and transparency of these corporations.”
Narinder grew up in Nairobi where she was surrounded by people who believed in making a change in society through commitment to hard work and education. This is what drove Narinder to choose law, as she believed it would provide a platform to make a difference in her community and allow her to be a voice for peoples’ concerns.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2015, Narinder worked as a Researcher at the Kenya Law Reform Commission and as an Associate Lawyer in Nairobi, where she specialised in civil and commercial litigation, motor insurance claims, land and property law, succession law and employment claims.
Narinder completed her Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in 2009 before being admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2011. She then transferred her overseas qualifications by completing her Graduate Diploma of Law through the University of Sydney and was admitted to practice in Australia in 2019.
In addition to providing access to justice for everyday Australians through class actions, Narinder is passionate about wildlife conservation and fighting gender and racial discrimination.
