Melissa Strange

Hard-working and dedicated, Melissa was interested from a young age in justice and helping those who needed it. She works primarily in Abuse Law and aims to serve her clients to the best of her abilities, all day and every day.

Melissa began working at Woolworths at age 15 and stayed there throughout her studies, resigning only when she got a full-time job after graduating. She worked for a boutique law firm in Townsville that specialised only in personal injury law and then she was later given the opportunity to do some WorkCover work with a well-regarded firm in Townsville. After that she secured a position in the Shine Townsville office.

Melissa’s commitment to helping others led to her volunteering at Rosie’s and helping to feed the homeless in Cairns once a month on a Sunday night. Working in the abuse team, Melissa assists clients who have gone through horrific experiences, and finds that the feeling of having bettered their lives in even a small way is one that can’t be measured.
