“Accessing compensation can be complex and confusing – I value providing clarity, a clear plan of action and hopefully some comfort to my clients during what is often the most difficult time in their lives.”
Straight-forward communication is key to Tamara, and she knows how important it is for her clients to feel confident in making fully-informed choices throughout their claims. Unnecessarily prolonged claims cause added stress for clients, so Tamara does her best to ensure her clients’ claims are progressed efficiently, while maximising the outcome.
Tamara is vocal when it comes to important issues, particularly around road safety. She has presented seminars and co-authored academic pieces around driverless cars and accident compensation. On topics like driver distraction and road quality, she has raised awareness through her expert commentary to media outlets.
In 2015, Tamara graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University. She chose to pursue law as a career due to her passion for working with vulnerable people, whether due to injury or circumstance.
In the community, Tamara has volunteered with the Youth Referral and Independent Persons Program (YRIPP), as well as at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. She’s also been involved as a prison legal educator and presenter at the Prison Legal Education & Assistance Project.
