Tabetha is an Associate Lawyer with Shine Lawyers’ Head Trauma practice, assisting clients who have suffered serious injuries and brain injuries to access essential compensation. Her background is in personal injury law, having run Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident, Public Liability and Medical Negligence claims in her previous legal roles.
Tabetha studied at Central Queensland University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction. She then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) that same year. Upon finishing her law degree, she was awarded the Una Prentice Award, which recognises the highest achieving graduating law student and was inducted into the Golden Key Honour Society which recognised her high academic performance at QUT.
In the community, Tabetha has been volunteering with the Suncoast Community Legal Service for twelve years as both a volunteer receptionist when she was studying and then a volunteer lawyer after graduating. She also served on the management committee for over 3 years. She provides free legal advice and guidance to people in the Sunshine Coast community who are most in need of this valuable service. Tabetha is also a committee member of the Sunshine Coast Community Foundation, helping to manage grants to community organisations on the Sunshine Coast.
