Stefanie understands that coming to terms with abuse can be an incredibly difficult and lengthy process. She enjoys getting to know each of her clients, finding out what is important to them and being a part of the process with them to help them achieve justice.
Located in Shine Lawyers’ Darwin office, Stefanie is a Solicitor in our Abuse Law practice. Together with our dedicated team of Abuse Law experts and mental health support team, Stefanie works alongside survivors of abuse to help them to access the acknowledgement, services and compensation they deserve.
Driven by the desire to seek justice for her clients, Stefanie specialises in representing survivors of abuse in their claims against institutions such as government, schools, sporting clubs, prisons, youth justice centres and churches.
Prior to her focus on Abuse Law Claims, Stefanie gained experience in Commercial Litigation, Workers Compensation Claims, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims and immigration matters. She has also worked as an Associate to her Honour Justice Blokland of the Northern Territory Supreme Court and as an Associate to his Honour Justice Elkaim of the ACT Supreme Court.
Originally from Melbourne, Stefanie has been based in the Northern Territory for over 2 years and finds the community, lifestyle and diversity of the place very special.
