As a solicitor in Shine Lawyers’ Class Actions practice, Sean has a natural drive to assist everyday Australians who may otherwise be unaware of their legal rights.
“It’s frustrating when people are wronged and it goes unaddressed. The only thing worse than suffering a hardship is that person letting it slide.”
Sean has previously been involved in several casual employment class actions, representing more than 35,000 group members. This includes WorkPac v Rossato, in which the Full Federal Court altered the legal definition of casual employment in Australia. These class actions, Sean believes, have the potential to correct the ongoing casualisation of the Australian workforce.
Sean studied law at the Australian National University, graduating in 2017. Since admission, he’s practised law in the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales, representing group members in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.
