Peter has over 12 years’ experience acting as a solicitor for Australian and international institutional clients in complex litigation in financial and construction law cases, most recently as a litigation Partner at a national commercial law firm.

The key cases he’s worked on have concerned professionals’ negligence in the areas of financial advice, accounting advice, legal advice and structural engineering. He has also acted for a number of private clients in a diverse range of matters including significant public inquiries and defamation claims.

His strengths lie in directing complex matters to early and cost-effective resolutions for his clients.

In his role as National Manager of Shine Lawyers’ Professional Negligence department, Peter heads up a team of expert negligence lawyers working across Australia to help people in their claims against financial advisors, financial institutions, legal staff and accounting professionals.

Peter also manages Shine’s National Defamation practice, providing expert legal guidance to individuals whose professional or personal reputations have been slandered.
