Helping claimants during the most vulnerable time of their life is what makes personal injury law so rewarding, says Nicole. She chose to pursue a career in law because she wanted to assist others during times of difficulty, both financially and mentally coping with the life changes an unexpected trauma can bring.

Nicole’s favourite part of legal practice is first and foremost engaging with clients, secondly the forensic and tactical elements of a claim.

Nicole's primary areas of practice are transport accidents claims and workers compensation claims, where she has been a trailblazer in seeking justice for her clients. During her career she commenced the first transport accident practice under the then new Transport Accident Act 1984 with the Victorian Road Safety Commissioner, John Voyage. She also ran a Victorian Supreme Court test case on the definition of ‘duty of care’ in 2016 - Homsi v Homsi 2016 VSC 354.

While Nicole’s most valued experience has been accrued through the challenges and diversity of each claim she's worked on, she has also studied at RMIT and the University of New England to further her legal knowledge.
