She studied a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) at the University of Wollongong. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. She is appointed as an Approved Legal Service Provider with the Independent Review Office (IRO) for workers' compensation matters.

Natalee offers her time to the Wollongong PCYC, where she sits on the board of the Community Engagement Committee. She is also an internationally certified yoga teacher and provides yoga classes for community organisations.

Natalee is an experienced advocate for survivors of physical or sexual abuse. Nat is passionate about empowering survivors and obtaining outcomes that truly matter. She has experience running claims for survivors in various circumstances, including institutional abuse (such as claims against church and state run institutions), educational settings (such as claims against schools), claims against prisons and correction facilities, and claims concerning abuse in the context of medical care and in the workplaces. Natalee is spearheading a number of claims in NSW for survivors of forced adoption. These claims involve practices predominantly between the 1950s to 1980s where pregnant women, their partners/families, and their children were subjected to traumatising separation. In many cases, the survivors were forcibly restrained, held in harsh conditions, treated cruelly, and provided with substandard medical care. Her clients have made the courageous choice to report their experiences and Nat is passionate about telling their story and holding the institutions to account.
