Layla was involved in the landmark Palm Island Class Action, which achieved a $30 million settlement for the Palm Island Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Beyond class actions, Layla has practised across the law including in Property, Commercial and Human Rights. Layla is fluent in Arabic, as well as reading and writing French at an intermediate level.
