Laura was drawn to personal injury law because she believes it’s an area where she can really make a difference in peoples lives. The problem-solving aspects of personal injury law continually interest Laura and she also enjoys interacting with a lot of different people.
Completing a dual degree in Law and Commerce at the University of Queensland in 2016, Laura went on to do practical legal training through the College of Law before being admitted in 2019.
While completing her studies, Laura worked as a law clerk in criminal law where she gained insight into court processes and the system of justice in Queensland. She then went on to complete a summer clerkship with a high profile law firm where she discovered her passion for personal injury law.
Laura says she finds law an interesting and stimulating field to practice in, and one that poses constant personal and professional challenges, as well as opportunities for growth.
