Passionate, enthusiastic and approachable, Jessica cares about her clients and is able to quickly build a strong rapport with them. She specialises in personal injury law and finds satisfaction in ensuring that people who otherwise wouldn’t have a voice are given one.
Jessica was drawn to a career in law for many reasons. A book lover from a young age, she was happy to choose a career with a lot of reading. She also wanted a career in which she could help people and she was drawn to the analytical nature of law. She undertook a double degree in Law and International Studies at Deakin University. When she completed work experience in the second year of her degree, she knew beyond a doubt it was the profession for her. She graduated in late 2016 and was admitted to practice in 2017.
Before she joined Shine Lawyers, Jessica gained valuable legal experience in a variety of ways. She worked in the residential lending team at Gadens, the institutional abuse team at Ryan Carlisle Thomas and child protection and youth crime at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service.
