James has a passion for relentlessly pursuing justice and for fighting for the rights of clients to better their lives. He sees it as a privilege to be entrusted as a person’s advocate and voice, and takes comfort in knowing his work impacts not only his clients’ lives but the lives of everyone else around them. As Shine’s General Manager for NSW, James lives up to the firm’s mission statement of “standing up for the little guy” while practicing in a number of areas, most notably Personal Injury and Litigation.
A recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, James has spent his entire working life in the professional services arena. He’s worked predominantly in Plaintiff Personal Injury and in a past life for a number of defendant firms advising insurance companies on Personal Injury-related matters. His experience enables him to view a matter objectively and understand the motives of his opponents when it comes to negotiating and preparing a claim, with the sole focus of obtaining maximum compensation for his clients.
James is a member of Australian Lawyers Alliance, Australian Institute of Company Directors, the New South Wales Law Society, the Queensland Law Society and the Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club. He possesses a balanced set of skills, including the ability to look at a case from both sides and better understand his opponents. The trust and faith that his clients place in him when they’re at their most vulnerable is something he truly values and holds dear.
James has appeared in many profile cases in both television and print media representing a number of Cronulla Sharks players involved in peptide saga, Quakers Hill Nursing Home, Opal Towers and discussions on NSW CTP reform and Bunnings sausages.
