Jackson Gilbert is a Sydney-based Solicitor with Shine Lawyers’ Abuse Law practice. Jackson brings his passion and drive to his work, acting as a voice for clients who have suffered abuse.

“In my role, helping someone who desperately needs your help is really rewarding.”

Before working in Abuse Law, Jackson practiced in Personal Injury law, taking an emphatic approach to clients recovering from life-changing injuries. His compassion is evident in his volunteering outside of work — he’s mentored disadvantaged young adults on the Northern Beaches for over a decade and he’s involved in an international not-for-profit serving persecuted minority groups.

“I feel truly privileged to assist each and every client in their plight for justice and this continually drives me.”

Jackson studied law and commerce at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He graduated in 2016, completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law the following year.

Jackson was also a recent finalist in the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Insurance Law category.

In his free time, Jackson enjoys playing football on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
