From a young age, Hene Demiri knew she wanted to help people. She decided to become a lawyer, representing everyday people during their most vulnerable times.
I feel honoured to be in a position where I have people place their trust in me and in return, I am able to use my passion and strive to achieve the best outcomes for them.
As a Solicitor at Shine Lawyers Sunshine branch, Hene practises in Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. She is driven in her pursuit of justice for her clients, enabling them to receive the support they need to recover from their injuries.
Hene studied at Deakin University and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law with High Distinction. She has previously volunteered as a paralegal at Westjustice, working in the Family Law Clinic, Refugee Generalist Clinic and Infringements Clinic. Hene has also volunteered as a paralegal at the Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre, assisting some of the most vulnerable people in the community.
“It is easy for some clients to initially feel as though they are just a number, they don’t matter and that their feelings have not been validated. Every time I speak with a client, I strive to convey to them that this is not the case”.
Hene has a long history of competing nationally and internationally in tennis. From a young age, she has had to independently generate a game plan and strategies to win which she now takes off the court and into her legal practice.
Hene speaks Vietnamese at an intermediate level and is involved in Shine Lawyers’ work in the Vietnamese community.
