Carla chose a career in Law because she wanted to help people get through difficult times. She chose Personal Injury Law in particular because she believes that everyone deserves to come home from work and drive on our roads safely, and that if this doesn’t occur they should be fairly compensated. Carla enjoys being able to explain the process of a claim to a client and to assure them that she will assist them to attain whatever they’re entitled to, from compensation to treatment.

Carla holds a dual degree from the University of Queensland: a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with an extended major in Criminology. She completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2015 and was admitted to practice Law in 2016. Prior to joining Shine Lawyers, she worked for a prominent Law Firm, where she learnt effective strategies in file management and in caring for clients as well as how to break down complex legal jargon into information clients can easily understand.

Driven and efficient, Carla will stop at nothing to process the matter efficiently and to obtain the compensation that her clients deserve. She volunteers at the Pine Rivers Community Legal Service, reads to children as a Pyjama Angel and has previously been the vice president of the Central Queensland Law Association.
