Compassionate and empathetic, Beverley pursued a career in personal injury law because she loves to help people.

“People carrying out their every day business sometimes end up injured through no fault of their own. If my knowledge of the law can help them through that difficult time, then I should use that knowledge to help them.”

Beverley is an Associate who has been a part of the Shine Lawyers team since 2012. Since that time she has practiced across many areas of personal injury law; using her expertise to help clients with motor vehicle claims, workers compensation claims and public liability claims.

“Some people take the injuries they suffer in their stride but some people are really impacted by the injury they sustain. The extent of the injury isn't always the difference - everyone is different and should be treated so.”

It’s this attitude and level of experience that saw Beverley recognised by the independent Doyles Guide as an “Injury & Compensation Law Rising Star”.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Beverley combined her law degree with accounts, and graduated from the University of Leicester in England. She was admitted to practice after attending Chester College of Law and went on to practice as a lawyer in the UK for 15 years.

Upon relocation to Queensland’s warmer climates, Beverley commenced her career with Shine. She obtained her Australian qualification as a lawyer at the University of Sydney and has been an integral part of our team since.
