Reading ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ at the age of ten sparked Anna’s interest in Law. As she got older, she became increasingly interested in Law as a profession. At the University of Queensland she completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (extended major in International Relations, minors in English Literature and Political Science) and then a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at QUT. Her early legal experience was primarily in the community legal centre space as a student volunteer and paralegal. While studying, she was heavily involved with the UQ Pro Bono Centre.
Anna was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017 and the High Court of Australia in 2018. She is passionate about helping people access justice they would otherwise be unable to pursue, which is why she finds being part of the class actions team so rewarding.
