Alissa is an experienced solicitor with a keen interest in legal research. She completed a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Queensland before being admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2016 and the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014.
While Alissa's primary area of practice is class action litigation, she also has experience in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property and privacy law.
Alissa’s expertise and passion for clients was instrumental in securing a positive outcome in the class action against Johnson & Johnson for defective pelvic mesh implants. This lawsuit fought for justice on behalf of thousands of Australian women who suffered unbearable pain and irreparable damage after receiving implants that were not fit for use.
