Alice Robinson is a Special Counsel and the Practice Leader of Shine Lawyers’ Victorian Medical Negligence team. Alice is passionate about helping people get back on track when they have been injured in the health system and need someone in their corner.

I became a lawyer so that I could help injured people access and navigate the legal system.

Alice is an expert in medical negligence claims and assists her clients pursue claims for lump sum compensation. Alice’s expertise includes acting for clients who have suffered catastrophic back injuries, brain injuries, cosmetic injuries, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis of illness and children with cerebral palsy. She works closely with her clients to navigate their legal journey, striving for outcomes that enable access to the best medical treatment and care, as well as financial independence.

In addition to medical negligence, Alice has practised across the personal injury law spectrum during her career, including in WorkCover, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Public Liability and Superannuation. She studied Law and Arts at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2009 before being admitted in 2010. Alice speaks fluent French and rudimentary Italian.

Alice has practised as a lawyer in Melbourne and rural Victoria. She grew up in rural Victoria and has a commonsense approach to making the law accessible for people from all walks of life

I most enjoy helping clients understand how the law can work for them.
