Superannuation and disability insurance
"Meeting new people and hearing their stories has made me deeply passionate about advocating for the community."
Joy is a Client Intake Officer in Shine Lawyers' Superannuation and Disability Insurance team. Based in our Brisbane branch, Joy plays a key role in ensuring clients feel supported and understood from the very first time they reach out to Shine.
Joy is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws at QUT, combining her studies with hands-on legal experience gained as a legal researcher and legal secretary. She has also participated in a clerkship program at a leading Australian law firm, giving her a strong grounding in large-scale legal practice.
Known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, Joy takes the time to listen to each client's situation and make the intake process feel clear and less overwhelming — particularly during what can be a difficult and uncertain time.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Joy can assist English and Vietnamese-speaking clients in the Brisbane community and beyond.
