Jack is a solicitor with Shine Lawyers’ Superannuation and Disability Insurance team in New South Wales. Based in Shine’s Parramatta branch, he is committed to securing the best possible compensation outcomes for clients navigating complex total and permanent disability (TPD) and income protection (IP) claims.

Prior to his admission as a solicitor, Jack worked extensively as a Senior Legal Assistant, where he gained significant hands-on experience supporting complex insurance matters. In this role, he assisted in securing more than $1.5 million in total compensation for a single client across three concurrent TPD and IP claims, as well as an additional $300,000 for the client’s spouse. Jack also assisted in overturning an exclusion on a TPD insurance policy, increasing the client’s benefit entitlement by approximately $850,000 and enabling the successful pursuit and settlement of a related income protection claim.
Jack was drawn to practise in superannuation and disability insurance law by his desire to advocate strongly for clients during what is often one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Known for his personable, transparent and client-focused approach, Jack prioritises building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the claim process.
Committed to professional growth and community contribution, Jack previously served on the Executive Committee of the Notre Dame University Law Society and volunteered with organisations including Foodbank and Ozanam. He also spent six months studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary, an experience that strengthened his adaptability and ability to navigate complex situations.
