Based in Brisbane, Fleur is a Solicitor in our Superannuation & Insurance Claims team with a particular focus on helping clients appeal declined decisions from their insurer or clients who have pre-existing medical conditions to secure their full entitlements.

Coming from a rural, low-income background, Fleur was the first in her family to attend university –

“I understand firsthand the barriers to justice, equity and equality in Australia. I am deeply aware of the privilege of being a member of the legal profession and strongly believe in my duty to give back to my community.”

It’s this determination and dedication to her craft that saw Fleur help her client to secure justice with a successful appeal after a 10-year legal battle during which her client’s claim was rejected twice.

Fleur’s passion to give back to her community continues outside of work, where she is a regular blood donor, a respite foster carer and provides volunteer help to the elderly and homeless. She is also an advocate for mental health; previously speaking at Batyr events to help reduce the stigma surrounding getting mental health help.
