Daniil feels he has always been drawn to a career where he can help vulnerable members of the community and is passionate about ensuring his clients feel safe and supported and their voices are heard.
Based in our Brisbane branch, Daniil joins our abuse team working tirelessly to ensure our clients receive the justice and restitution they deserve.
It takes a certain type of person to practise an area of law that predominantly revolves around trauma, pain, and suffering. Often, the first time our abuse team first meet with their clients, it is the first time that client has ever confided in someone about their traumatic experiences.
Before working at Shine, Daniil worked in criminal law and spent 5 years working at the Legal Aid Commission (ACT), including a 12-month secondment to the Aboriginal Legal Services (NSW/ACT).
He then went on to practise in a private law firm, specialising in personal injury law and worked on a number of matters involving historical child abuse claims, primarily across NSW, ACT and Victoria.
