Angela Ryan

Angela helps her clients who have been injured while on the roads or at work to understand their legal rights, access their full entitlements and secure the compensation needed to move forward with their life.

Angela is an Associate in our Personal Injury Claims team with an increased level of experience in transport accident-related matters and workers compensation claims.

Angela was drawn to the law at a young age and remembers declaring to her family as an 8-year-old that she was going to become a lawyer. She was inspired by many female lawyers in her local neighbourhood who motivated her to keep studying and working hard so she could “stand up for the little guy”.

In addition to her personal injury law experience, Angela has also practiced in Youth Justice, Child Protection Litigation and Children’s Court matters. One of her career highlights from this time included her legal internship with the Department of Justice where she was involved in brand new Youth Justice legislation in Victoria:

“It was very exciting being at the very front end of creating new law that would affect so many young peoples’ lives.”

Angela also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Education Services which has enabled her to provide support for vulnerable, disadvantaged and at-risk clients. This included helping women and children in domestic violence and abusive situations, counselling at-risk youths and helping low-income families to receive free or low-cost health insurance.
