“It is an honour and a privilege to stand up for the little guy and be a voice for those wronged by the actions of others.”

Roger Singh is National Special Counsel of Shine Lawyers’ Asbestos Litigation Team, bringing over 25 years’ of experience in dust disease litigation.

Roger has successfully represented victims and families of those suffering with asbestos diseases throughout Australia, and has a track record of success in overseas jurisdictions, particularly representing Australian residents with claims of asbestos exposure sustained while living and working in the UK.

Roger has successfully fought on behalf of workers who were exposed in a number of different industries including the power, mining, building, manufacturing, waterside and automotive industries.

He has represented home owners and individuals whose exposures occurred whilst performing renovations to their properties, and individuals who suffered second hand exposure via family members working in environments contaminated with asbestos.

Roger has been acknowledged as a leading practitioner in the field of asbestos and dust diseases litigation in Australia and is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in this field. He has fought for clients all the way up to the High Court of Australia, and was integral in running a case that set precedent for Northern Territory common law.
