Prior to completing his specialisation, Hadi studied a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Western Sydney University. While at WSU he was awarded the John Marsden Memorial Award in Practical Legal Training. He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011. He is a member of the Law Society of NSW, the NSW Young Lawyers Association and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights.
